That does not surprise me at all considering I've checked my cellphone twice today, while in bed and I'm typing this in bed. I think we are definitely very attached to technology and don't want to risk not being contactable.
I turned my phone off for a few hours yesterday because of something to do with work and it was a very weird feeling not being contactable for 6 hours.
Maybe we are asking too many questions that have the words, "if", "but" and "maybe" in them and we need to realise that its okay to not be contactable.
It really is becoming an extension of our physical bodies (cellphones that is).
