Post, you lazy people, post!

I've just had a quick scan of the blog and noticed that almost none of blog pieces have any comments. Can we have an e-show of hands? Who is actually interested in the blog as a community, and who is simply posting for their assessment? There seem to be very few off topic posts here. It's all far too academic. There's no discussion here, only people posting pieces of information. And while i'm actually very interested in a lot of the information that gets posted on here, especially the Internet is for Porn video (which by the way i've seen countless times and it STILL makes me laugh. If you hadn't posted it I would have next week) I'd like to see some actual discussion. There's only so much new information i can absorb in one sitting.

Let's get some debate going! Post some opinion peices or responses to previous posts.. You don't have to be assessed on EVERY single post you make. Likewise, (If I understand correctly) if you meet the minimum of one post per week until the end, you can pick several of you best posts, even if they were all from one week. So if you're feeling uninspired, or just feel like posting a conversational response, then just do it! It may actually help you pass your assessment.

G'day to you fellow Blogger..

As hypocritical as this may sound.. i TOTALLY agree. :) I sometimes eagerly jump online just to be disappointed to find that NOBODY takes offence on my senseless ranting on this here Bloggy.. which in turn, puts me off continuing to do so, WHEN we actually NEED to post SOMETHING to pass this paper.

I actually have NEVER blogged before in my life...BUT i have a habit of thinking out loud. So i figured, Hey, get it on paper..sort of. SO HERE i am typing, yet again, senseless babble...

Lets get blogging, man!

hi-five for having the nut/s to say something about it, buddy!

I'm simply posting to meet the requirements. The reason for this is that I have other forums/blogs that I read that relate more closely to my interests such as punkas.com and muckmouth.com. I prefer the message board forum format to this sort of blog layout and I find it better facilitates discussion. But having said this I agree with you and reckon it would be cool if this was a little less academic/formal.

I am the most horrid procrastinator and therefore whenever I connect to the net I get sidetracked by other sites. I'll think of stuff I can slap on trade me, check my Myspace, Facebook and Hotmail, check out the Herald and Indymedia.org, see if new movies have been uploaded to the Pirate Bay and download music. Hence its virtually impossible to get around to posting on here. That's the main problem I have with this assignment (though a self inflicted one)
